OTRANTO
The magnificent town of Otranto is from our B & B just 12 km, the road that connects us is the least busy of the country so
you can not reach without any difficulties in any occasion.
Otranto is a coastal town of Salento, certainly very popular and well known to those in Salento there never was. It is located on the Adriatic coast and is the largest city east of Italy, is located further east than it is Warsaw, the elongated and oblique of our country. Is 41 km from Lecce, Gallipoli from 44 and 54 from Leuca.
Otranto is a town known internationally. Of ancient origins that date back to well before the Greek colonization of these lands, owes its name to a trickle of water that flows near the port: the Hydro. Albania is only 70 km and about 800 from Egypt. The coastline stretches for about Otrantian 10 km., Otranto south to St. Andrew Tower including the towns of St. Stephen's Tower, Alimini Lakes, Frassanito, etc.. For years, Otranto is recognized as a city with clean sea, the blue flags, however, are also allocated on the basis of tourist services that the town offers.

The ORTE
To the south of Otranto, after the Tower of the Serpent, between the tip and the lighthouse Facì Palascia there is a nature reserve call: the Bay of OURT. Here, in an environment totally pristine reefs alternating low and many small sandy bays, sheltered from the wind, and a stunning backdrop with many varieties of fish and water is always clean. A few meters away you can also admire the lake from the quarry in bauxite.
BADISCO HARBOUR
A few kilometers from Otranto Road going south you come to the little bay and the town of Badisco, famous for the rich and the famous caves of deer, represent the largest Neolithic paintings of Europe and its discovery made the rounds of world, causing great interest in the research. Anything that stood a cave in Salento, had hosted the prehistoric man. The bay of Porto Badisco presents a wide expanse of sand, and the sides are even a cliff with several pitches. The seabed is sandy and has rich sources of fresh water.
